KAPU Has Your Back

Welcome to Spring 2015! KAPU is back in action with new music and captivating playlists stretching across multiple genres to keep you up to date on the latest and greatest jams.

KAPU Alternative is the meat and cheese of our broadcasting, featuring the absolute best new alternative rock songs with a steady infusion of fan-favorites from the past few years. With a wide scope and refined style, these playlists are focused on ushering listeners into our sprawling musical metropolis that has been years in the making. Though playlists encompass a range of artists, some of our staff favorites are Foster The People, Circa Survive, Kings Of Leon, Real Estate, Bad Suns, Title Fight, Coasts, Interpol, The Strokes, and Joyce Manor. Playing at all times except during scheduled shows and Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday nights from 8pm-12am.

KAPU Indie will satisfy the craving for under-the-radar artists with unique sounds and a chill vibe. For fans of Sun Kil Moon, FKA twigs, Caribou, Mac DeMarco, and so many more. Only on Wednesdays from 8pm-12am.

KAPU Top Hits brings the newest and raddest dance music and pop hits to wherever you are, so you can get the party started with some musical style. Some featured artists are SAM SMITH, Fall Out Boy, Avicii, David Guetta, Lorde, ODESZA, and Iggy Azalea. Playing Friday and Saturday from 8pm-12am.

KAPU Country features top country hits and classic favorites to get you in the mood for a good ol’ fashioned ho-down and a game of corn hole. For fans of Brad Paisley, Florida-Georgia Line, and Tim McGraw. Mondays from 8pm-12am.
