Good evening followers of KAPU radio. I have some great news for you today, namely that we have identified our technical problems with the equipment and laid out a solution to have them fixed. While this is no small process, we have come to realize that a long term solution to keep KAPU on the air for years to come will be the best course of action. Unfortunately this means that we will not be broadcasting until the start of next semester, but we have big ideas in the works and are planning to come back in a big way.
Also, a very exciting event is happening this weekend: “Navigating the Doc Side”. This is a conference that includes some big names, such as Emmy award winning producer of Intervention. Other noteworthy Hollywood producers and filmmaker a will also be attending. APU students can attend the Friday session from 5pm-9pm for a 5$ door price, which includes pizza. The Saturday session is from 9am-5:30pm, and both sessions will be taking place in Wilden Hall. For more details, visit http://www.apunavigatingthedocside.com/ This event is a very exciting opportunity I encourage you to take advantage of and attend. With pizza, famous filmmakers, and a few KAPU staff members with name tags to help you find your seat and keep quality control of the conference, it is sure to be a memorable event. I hope to see you there!
